MIVAL is a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1961 and incorporated in 1969 to promote and encourage artistic endeavors, stimulate awareness and appreciation of the visual arts, and sponsor art exhibits and workshops. MIVAL hosts a variety of arts events throughout the year, including a spring Miniature Show at the MIVAL Gallery, Summer Celebration Tent Sale and Junior Art Show, Art Uncorked Artists Tents, and a Holiday Show at the Mercer Island Community and Events Center. The MIVAL Gallery, open year-round, is located in the Avellino Building between QFC and Baskin Robbins, 2836 – 78th Ave. SE, Mercer Island, WA 98040.
